Burrito Recipe with Enchilada Sauce
Ingredients
- Tortillas
- Ground beef
- Onion
- Garlic
- Cumin
- Chili powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Enchilada sauce
- Shredded cheese
- Sour cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper over medium heat until beef is cooked through and onion is soft.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Spread 1/2 cup of enchilada sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- Warm each tortilla in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
- Fill each tortilla with some of the beef mixture, shredded cheese, and a tablespoon of enchilada sauce.
- Roll each burrito up and place in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining enchilada sauce over the burritos.
- Top with remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with sour cream, if desired.
